Lostwithiel Gin Festival

The Lostwithiel Gin Festival is back! The date for your diary is Saturday 25th June 11am – 9pm, we do hope you can come along. It's taking place by the River Fowey in ‘The Parade’ area near to the medieval bridge in the centre of town. Bring a blanket, a picnic, soak up the atmosphere.

The event is being organised by the Lostwithiel Business Group with funds raised going back into local projects and future town events.

Our two previous Gin Festivals were very successful! We'll have many Cornish gin makers joining us offering their wares, tasters and advice. There will also be a Gin Bar where you'll be able to choose your preferred Cornish Gin from the menu then choose one of our great cocktails or one of a selection of tonic waters.

You'll be spoilt for choice for food. Local eateries will be open, be it sandwiches or hot food, pasties or a cream tea, the pubs and restaurants will be offering food if you need to refuel. There will be more choices on-site and you will not go hungry!

There will be live entertainment throughout the day. This includes the Sunny Uplands Country Choir, Lostwithiel Town Band, Horse and Hedges, Americana Groove, Rebecca and the Bear and Lost in Space. So a real mix of musical vibes with a lively end to the evening!

So come along and enjoy all Lostwithiel has to offer. Browse our independent shops which we are so proud of, which include Scandinavian delights, jewellery, homewares, gifts, antiques, vintage and much much more.

If you’re lucky enough to look under 25, then don't forget your ID, bring smiles, and good humour, patience (we may be really busy on the bar) and we will have a fantastic day together.

Please come by train if you can. It's just a one minute walk over the old bridge, you'll see and hear us, then you can enjoy the day to it's full. Just drive to your nearest station and jump on the Gin Train. As you know Lostwithiel is a small, beautifully proportioned ancient town and has very limited parking so it will be first come, first served. If you have friends in town, ask if you can use their driveway, get dropped off, stay overnight, definitely car share with your new teetotal designated driver friend (there will be soft drinks).

We do hope you can join us!
