Lostwithiel Social club

Lostwithiel Social club is situated in the main street. It is a members club which offers a full size snooker table and also a pool table. We are run by volunteers who operate the Bar. We are also supported by a committee and three trustees. The Social club regularly books Bands and singers. There is a Folk Jam which is held every second Friday and is well attended by several musicians and singers. Apart from being a members club we also offer space for private functions, e.g. Baptism parties, birthday parties a small wedding venue and a place to hold a funeral wake. The club was opened in 1890 with money raised by the folk of Lostwithiel and has been an iconic building of the town. A grant was secured for improvements to all new windows, the toilets have been completely refurbished a small kitchen has been added upstairs, a stair lift has been installed for disabled access to the first floor. Membership to join the club is £10 a year.
