The Old Palace
The Old Palace on Quay Street in Lostwithiel is an Aladdin’s cave full of wonderful artwork, antiques and exotic cultural artefacts from around the world. Come and experience our unique and exciting shop which opened its doors in the spring of 2026. We believe that art is for everyone and should be affordable!
The Old Palace contains a huge variety of objects and curiosities, from African masks, head-dresses, ceremonial jewellery and hats to Chinese, Japanese & Peruvian dolls, rustic musical instruments, sculptures, wooden bowls & spoons, gourds, costumes, kimono’s, scarves, antique shoes and much much more.
The paintings on sale are predominantly by the artist Orly Katz (orlykatzart on instagram), who was a kindergarten teacher for over 30 years & whose work is full of wonder, story telling and vibrant colour. There is also work by Paul Kaye (paulkayeart on instagram).
We are open most days between 10am-4pm.
