Tredethick Farm Cottages
Set amongst beautiful rolling countryside 1 mile from Lostwithiel. You can walk from your door across meadows and through ancient woodland to the nearby peaceful creek-side village that inspired Kenneth Grahame’s “Wind in the Willows”, or simply relax and enjoy the rural idyll.
All cottages are fully equipped, some have log fires. Excellent central location for exploring the delights of coast and countryside.
If you are looking for a safe environment which you can enjoy with your children, you've found it. All of our cottages are child-friendly, and many of them are on one level. Where there are stairs we have fitted stair gates. They are all equipped with good-quality full-sized wooden cots and highchairs..
However, for many children the undoubted highlight of their holiday will be the daily animal feeding with Farmer Tim. This is of course totally voluntary, but very well attended. About 20 minutes is spent every morning hand feeding the pet goats and lambs and collecting the freshly laid eggs from the chickens. This very much appeals to all ages, even Mums and Dads!
