Lostwithiel Food Festival week 19th - 26th October

 

Foodies will be spoilt for choice as Lostwithiel's Food Festival week takes place from 19th - 26th October.

The annual week long celebration of food and drink kicks off with the Cornish Cider Festival on Saturday 19th October. Over 40 ciders and juices will be on offer, plus freshly made wood-fired pizzas by Kernow Forno, live music, stalls, apple pressing and competitions.

On Sunday 20th October, the King's Arms will be holding a beer festival followed by a cheese and wine tasting evening on Monday 21st October in aid of the St Austell Brewery charitable trust.

On Wednesday 23rd October you can enjoy a 3 course meal of classic Italian recipes with free wine tasting at the Royal Oak.

On Friday 25th October Trewithen Restaurant will be holding a themed evening to celebrate World Pasta Day. During the day you can buy vegetables, meat, fish, jams and baked goods direct from local suppliers at the Lostwithiel Local Produce Market.

Finally on Saturday 26th October, the ever popular Asian Food Day will showcase culinary delights from Thailand, Japan, Korea, Singapore, and India, plus cooking demonstrations, origami and Japanese drumming by Tanoshi Taiko.
