Trewithen Restaurant is a family business run by husband and wife team, Paul and Claire Murray.
The restaurant is set over two floors of a 17th century townhouse in the heart of Lostwithiel, the ancient capital of Cornwall.
Paul and Claire bought Trewithen in July 2006 having relocated from their native Yorkshire. From the outset, their focus has been on providing on high standards of service and serving excellent food.
The couple have been in hospitality all their working lives – Paul was previously Catering Manager for the famous ‘Betty’s’ in Harrogate and Claire was Duty Manager at the award winning Rudding Park Hotel – and their passion for what they do is always evident.
Drawing on their experiences, Paul and Claire have built Trewithen’s success on an ethos of providing the best dining experience whilst remaining approachable and friendly.
Paul and his assistant chef, Jordan, combine a fastidious attention to detail with a passion for food whilst Claire’s bubbly welcome and team of courteous, attentive waiting staff, ensure that their customers are always well fed and well looked after.
