The 2023 Dickensian evening will be held on Thursday 7th December.

Join us for Lostwithiel's enchanting Dickensian Evening this December! Revel in a traditional Christmas atmosphere and bustling festivities from 6pm. Meet stilt walkers and Victorian characters, enjoy late-night shopping until 9pm with shopkeepers in period outfits. Be entertained by choirs, bands, and musicians performing festive tunes across town.

Discover unique stalls in Church Rooms and along Fore Street, including vintage goods, crafts, and delicious food and drink. Children will love the old fashioned Santa's grotto, while parents can sample street food like a hog roast, paired with mulled wine or cider.

Don't miss the beautifully decorated Advent Window Trail and the illuminated Christmas trees. Visit the open museum and St Bartholomew's Church for live music. After the event, festivities will continue in local pubs and clubs.

Come dressed in Victorian attire to fully immerse yourself in the experience. Arrive early or take public transport to avoid parking issues and fully embrace the festive spirits!
