Update on the Station Footbridge

Network Rail published a Press Release today about Lostwithiel Station footbridge.
In summary the release states "........a new, temporary bridge will be built this summer as quickly as possible while the latest plans for a permanent bridge are developed."

The originally propsed footbridge, which was higly praised in this article, failed to satisfy Network Rail safety standards.
