An update from Emma of Lost in Song about Sing Along The River.
" Lost In Song, Lostwithiel’s much-loved community choir, hosts a series of music evenings next to the River Fowey, in The Parade Gardens, Lostwithiel, on Thursday evenings in August. Come and join us for Sing Along the River 2017. This community music-making festival is really gaining quite a reputation for itself throughout Cornwall and we are incredibly grateful for your support.
To help us make sure that this year's event is a huge success we are pleased to have received a grant from Arts Council England. This grant has paid for additional lighting, larger staging, a stage cover and some collaborative taster sessions with local musicians, folk bands and the town band.
We just need a few more pounds to ensure all five nights are full of exciting live music. Please check out our Crowdfunder page and pledge if you can.
We are still looking for volunteers, if you are able to help please get in touch with me. We will start the formal NVQ stewarding training in September.
