Lanhydrock Cycle Hub opens

Saturday 15th February 

New cycle trails at Lanhydrock opening in February half term, with adventure playground, cafe and cycle hire to follow soon. Read more

 

Bodmin & Wenford Steam Railway

16th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 23rd February 

Cornwall's only full size railway still operated by steam locomotives. Read more

 

Flea & craft market

Sunday 16th February

All kinds of bargains to be found - books, china, tools and bric-a-brac plus craft items such as hand-made greetings cards. 10am - 2pm, Lostwithiel Community Centre. More details.

 

Antique & Modern Furniture & Effects Auction

Tuesday 18th February (viewing) and Wednesday 19th February (sale day)

Viewing: Day prior to sale, Tuesday 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5.15pm

Sale day: 9am to commencement promptly at 10am.

Lostwithiel Players present... Babes in the Wood 

Thursday 20th - Saturday 21st February

The annual Lostwithiel Panto, performances at 7.30pm at Lostwithiel Community Centre. Tickets £5 from the Centre. Pre performance supper at the Centre cafe available 6 - 7pm: 2 course meal (Lasagne and Cheesecake) for only £6.00. Book in advance by Monday 17th Feb.

 

Stone Carving Workshop - Taster days and weekend workshop

Friday 21st - Monday 24th

Antique & Collectors Market

Friday 21st February

China, glass, books, jewellery, furniture, unusual collectables and affordable antiques - you'll find all this and more at Lostwithiel's friendly Friday antique market at Lostwithiel Community Centre from 11 am - 3pm. Entry by donation. Cafe open till 2pm.


Craftworks Cornwall - Introduction to Printing

Saturday 22nd February

Experiment with different print techniques: mono printing, poly board and lino cutting, screen printing and simple repeat pattern printing.

Workshop costs £25, all materials, refreshments, and homemade cake included. 2pm - 5.30pm, Church Rooms. Booking essential. More details.

 

Lost In Play - have your say

Saturday 22nd February

Come and vote for your favourite playground design for your community's playground! Public consultation day in the Guildhall from 10am - 4pm. 

 

Cornish Toy Fair

Sunday 23rd February

The well established Cornish Toy Fair has been running for 22 years. The fairs have all kinds of toys and there are many collectable cars and trains to browse through. Doors open 11am-3pm. Refreshments are available at the Community Centre Cafe.
