Spring Collective Exhibition
Elaine Foster-Gandey Art will host a three-week Spring Collective Exhibition from Friday 27 March to Friday 17 April, celebrating the colours, textures and movement associated with the arrival of spring.
The exhibition brings together a curated group of contemporary artists working across painting, textiles, photography and mixed media, with works inspired by seasonal renewal, shifting light and the rhythms of the natural world.
Featured artists include Anne Blackwell-Fox, whose paintings explore trees and landscapes. Landscape continues as a theme in the atmospheric oil paintings of Rachel Hardy and Rosie French, known for her expressive works inspired by the Rame Peninsula.
Catherine Blunden presents woven pieces including landscapes, while Tracey Attfield shows free-flow machine embroidery depicting animals alongside her paintings. Elaine Foster-Gandey exhibits textiles and paintings inspired by birds and people, Sara Thomas contributes vibrant textile pieces and handmade lampshades Mary Toon, a multidisciplinary artist working across mixed media, presents figurines and multi media pieces in 2D and 3D forms.
The exhibition also features abstract works by Kathryn Smith including her popular cards and Kymberley Robinson, also with cards and prints alongside the multidisciplinary practice of Heidi Swire, who works across painting, textiles and photography. Wendy Rylance presents paintings of surfers and landscapes, as well as a selection of her popular cards.
