The breakdown of the spend is as follows:-

This money is in addition to the work being undertaken, and paid for, by the Council’s insurers.

The decision to spend the money on the regalia was made at the same meeting that agreed to raise the 2017/2018 precept to £150,436 compared with £129,000 for the 2016/2017 financial year, an increase of 16%.
