Sunday 15th March 2026

The new materials include: Cartons used for foods such as:
• Milk
• Juice
• Custard
• Soup
• Passata and tomatoes
• Beans and pulses

To recycle them, simply rinse, squash them and pop them in your red recycling bag.

Plastics and wrapping including:
• Plastic and bread bags, cereal bags, salad bags, frozen food bags and carrier bags
• Multi-pack wrapping
• Bubble wrap
• Cling film
• Plastic film lids
• Fruit and vegetable nets
• Chocolate, sweet and biscuit wrappers
• Crisp packets

To recycle them, put your plastic bags and wrapping into a carrier or bread bag and tie it at the top. If you have space, put the tied bag inside your red recycling bag.  No space left? Put the tied bag on top of your black box or tuck it securely between your other recycling bags so it doesn’t blow away.
