Proposed introduction of parking restrictions at junction of Cott Road and A390
Cornwall Council has announced a public consultation for proposed traffic changes on Cott Road, Lostwithiel, aimed at improving access to the existing bus stop which mainly serves the 28 and 28A routes but also occasionally the 187, 271, and 482 routes (Timetables here)
The proposed Traffic Regulation Order (TPO) has been assiged the reference number Infra25-240,

Junction Cott Road / Reeds Park
The main changes proposed for Cott Road include:

New Bus Stop Clearway: Establishing a 'Bus Stop Clearway' where no vehicle (other than a bus) is permitted to stop at any time.

Waiting Restrictions: Introducing 'No Waiting at Any Time' (double yellow lines) at the junctions of Cott Road with Liddicoat Road and Reeds Park.

Public Consultation Details
The proposed changes are subject to a statutory public consultation process, giving local residents and stakeholders the opportunity to formally submit their comments, support, or objections to the plan.

- Deadline: All comments, support, or objections must be formally submitted by Midnight on Friday, January 9, 2026.
