Lostwithiel success at Cornwall Tourism Awards 2025

Two members of Lostwithiel Businesses Group, Restormel Kitchen and Boconnoc Estate, have been recognised at the Cornwall Tourism Awards held in Truro on 13th November.

Restormel Kitchen won the Gold award for Casual Dining, The restaurant is run by Head Chef Jordan Cook and his wife Kerris. Quoting from their website “Restormel Kitchen's modern relaxed dining focuses on the great seasonal produce Cornwall has to offer. Set in a 400 year old townhouse in the heart of Lostwithiel which for many years played host to the much loved Trewithen Restaurant.” Find out more on their website.
Boconnoc Estate secured two major awards plus a key staff member was recognised.
Firstly Boconnoc was Gold Winner in the Wedding Venue of the Year category. Boconnoc is a private estate approximately 4 miles east of Lostwithiel The estate is available for exclusive hire for weddings. There is an 800-year-old church as well as beautiful indoor and outdoor locations for wedding ceromonies. Find out more on their website
Boconnoc was also Silver Winner in the Self-Catering Accommodation of the Year category. The estate offers luxurious self-catering cottages and houses accommodating groups of 4 to 14 all situated within hundreds of acres of private parkland. Amenities include a tennis court, games room, and miles of walking routes through woodlands and a deer park. More details here.
Louise Pearce of Boconnoc Estate won the Unsung Hero Award. Louise is the Hospitality Manager who takes care of all visitors’ needs throughout their wedding, retreat or event at Boconnoc. In the winter months Louise manages the Community Hub.
