Go to the Lost in Art Trail on 14th September

Message from Lostwithiel Business Group:-

"We are delighted to launch our new annual event ‘Lost in Art’, which will be held on Saturday 14th September.  The event is a celebration of the talent that people in Lostwithiel and the surrounding area have.  The day will give us an opportunity to bring together artists and makers, who can exhibit their work, sell their work and be creating throughout the day, if they wish.

The event run by Lostwithiel Business Group will focus on an Art trail, with the aim to have different locations for people to visit around the town.  We will be involving traders and asking them to have a gold frame in the shop and display their own artwork from their stock.  We are also keen for children to get involved in all the creativity through the day, with a spot the paintbrush competition, and we are hoping they will receive a sketchbook and pencils on the day.  Along with this we have a hub for the event, a crafty coffee morning plus many other things being planned.

The application process is now open for Artists and Makers.

If applying you can choose to be at your own venue, such as a shop, gallery, unit or you can join us at a communal area, such as the Community Centre or Scout Hall in the town.  Details of both are in the application process document, which you can access  here, along with the application form.  The application process is open until the 13th July.
