Forthcoming Lostwithiel Town Council Election – 11 September 2025

A local election will be held on Thursday, 11 September 2025 to fill the seven vacant seats on the town council. This election presents an opportunity for residents to participate in running of the town by standing as candidates or voting for their preferred choices

Nomination forms for candidates wishing to stand for election are available from Lostwithiel Town Council Website https://www.lostwithieltowncouncil.gov.uk/news.php Completed Nomination papers can only be submitted in person to the Deputy  Returning Officer, County Hall, Truro, not later than 4pm on Thursday, 14th August 2025.

Residents are reminded that in order to vote in the upcoming election, they must be registered on the electoral roll. The deadline to register to vote is midnight on Monday, 25 August 2025. Registration can be completed online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
