Dates for Flu Vaccinations

Friday 15th October 2021

Flu vaccine

Quoting from the October Lostwithiel Medical Practice  Newsletter:

"At the time of going to press (12/10/21) we have just been told to expect the delivery of our flu vaccines next week;  this means we can now arrange the clinics which will be taking place in the surgery this year.   Qualifying patients are those over the age of 65 years, or those aged between 18 to 64 years “at risk”, that is to say patients with asthma, diabetes or heart disease.   In addition, this year patients over the age of 50 years now qualify for flu vaccinations as do registered carers and pregnant women.   The wearing of masks would be much appreciated for those who may be vulnerable and whilst queuing.

For your diaries then please:

Saturday, 30th October     8.00am to 12noon   or  Saturday 6th November    8.00am to 12noon

As in previous years, it would be much appreciated if patients could be guided by the timetable depending on surnames  (but it is only a guide to ensure we do not have a queue of 600 waiting patiently at 8.00am):

A  -     G  8.30 am    -      9.30 am
H -     P    .30 am    -     11.00 am
Q -     Z    11.00 am    -     12.00 noon "
