Asian Food Day

The Asian Food Day held for the second year running at the end of Lostwithiel food festival week, LostFeast, was again a huge success.
Crowds of people came to the Church Rooms in Lostwithiel on Saturday 22nd October to try food from Thailand, Japan, Korea, India and Burma.
Doors opened at 11am and the first event was a sushi making demonstration by Sushi Ichiban. This was followed by a demonstration of Thai kick boxing by West Area Kick Thai gym at midday, then afterwards the popular Tanoshii Taiko Japanese drummers entertained the crowds.
Later in the afternoon there was a display of Thai dancing, followed by an Indian curry cooking demonstration.
