Announcement of Trial Saturday Opening Hours at Lostwithiel Library

In addition to the established Wednesday opening hours of 10:00am to 4:00pm Lostwithiel Library will commence a trial of Saturday morning opening hours.
The experiment will begin on Saturday, 1st November and will continue through the end of January 2026. During this period, the library will be open every Saturday from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon.
This extension of service hours is intended to provide local residents with greater flexibility to browse the collection, borrow materials, and utilise the full range of resources available in the library.
As this is a pilot initiative, all locals are encouraged to visit the library during the trial. High attendance will be important in assessing the viability and community demand for making these Saturday openings permanent.
