Lostwithiel Museum Talk And Social Event:

We look forward to welcoming you to our LMA talk and social event in the Church Rooms at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 30 September.

Dr Lesley Trotter, a social historian, professional genealogist, researcher and writer with a special interest in the history of Cornwall, will be sharing her findings in a talk entitled ‘More than Deeds and Wills — Surprises from a Solicitor's Office’.

Those of you who attended Lesley’s talk to the Lostwithiel Old Cornwall Society about ‘The Married Widows of Cornwall’ (the story of the wives left behind by emigration) will already know that Lesley is an excellent speaker. Please make a note of the date — this special event is definitely not one to miss.
