Lostwithiel: Cornwall's Medieval Capital: Heritage Walk

Tuesday 18th May 2010, 10:30am to 12:00pm

Location: Around Lostwithiel town

Founded by the Normans, Lostwithiel developed into a major port and the Duchy of Cornwall's administrative centre.

After suffering a month long siege during the Civil War (1644), Lostwithiel survived to tell the tale.

The fascinating story of the town's heritage unfolds as we explore the riverside lanes and historic buildings of this lovely town.

Meet at Lostwithiel Community Centre (off A390), limited parking, no dogs please. Cost £3.

Organised by Lostwithiel Museum Association
