 Working in collaboration with Bodmin Keep (Cornwall’s prestigious Army Museum) Lostwithiel Museum will be hosting a touring exhibition to be displayed in the Guildhall (above the museum) from 17 November — 17 December.

The Victory and Reflection Exhibition was co-produced by Milly Thompson, a student at the University of Plymouth who, as part of her degree, worked as an intern at Bodmin Keep. 

The display features unique artefacts, photographs and documents from the archives at Bodmin Keep. 

Shedding light on VE Day at home, the exhibition features photographs taken by Bodmin based photographer George Ellis who documented local victory celebrations.

Thank you to James Inglis (Assistant Curator Bodmin Keep) for helping us to co-ordinate this event — and to Lostwithiel Town Council for allowing the use of the Guildhall.
