Curator Talk: Bodmin Keep’s VE80 Exhibition at Lostwithiel

Join James Inglis, Assistant Curator at Bodmin Keep: Cornwall's Army Museum, for a behind-the-scenes talk on the production of the new touring display, Victory and Reflection, commemorating 80 years since Victory in Europe.
The talk will take place at Lostwithiel Guildhall, where the Victory and Reflection exhibition is currently on display.
Learn how the VE80 exhibition was developed from unique artefacts, documents, and photos in Bodmin Keep's collection which are powerful reminders that Victory in Europe was far from the end of the wartime experience. Many soldiers remained oversees for at least another year, rationing remained in place until 1954 with National Service continuing until the 1960s.
