In one months time, on Saturday 12th September,  our amazing arts trail around the ancient capital of Cornwall will take place. We call it Lost in Art.

Come along to our amazing medieval town to visit artists and makers in their own studios, or in venues around the town. There's plenty of activities for the children too. And of course there are all our lovely cafes, restaurants and pubs to take a break when going round the trail.

Come by train as our station is just over the river from town and a brilliant car-free alternative to visiting Lostwithiel.

There's lot to enjoy so put it in your diary now!

"Lost in Art - 12th September 2026, 10am to 5pm
We've got venues across the town, some are new to Lost in Art because change is always refreshing!
So we've got St Bartholomew's Church, and marquees on the church grounds, the Social Club on Fore Street, the historic Guild Hall above the museum, the Conservative Club and also some fun and games up at Restormel Castle.   
You will find artists at all the venues in the centre of town, with children's entertainment in the Social Club, artists in the church alongside installation work and the community project Lost Threads of Lostwithiel.
There will also be free workshops at the Castle Brewery Tap Room over the medieval bridge near the railway station in the afternoon, and at Elaine Foster Gandry gallery on Queen Street, and performance art in the window of one of the properties on Fore Street,  alongside our open studios of our town based artists.   
Literally art around every corner!
How will you know who is located where?  Our amazing art trail map will be available from our volunteers outside the Social Club and also at the Conservative Club and inside the church.
