Step into a world of etiquette, scandal and matchmaking with this fresh new take on an 18th-century rom-com from Cornwall’s Miracle Theatre, performed outside on the lawn at Boconnoc House.
Letty, promised to Doricourt since youth, prepares for marriage. Yet, Doricourt views her merely as a transaction. Facing a loveless fate, Letty reawakens her heart. Can she defy convention and find love on her terms? This vibrant retelling of Hannah Cowley’s comedy, “The Belle’s Stratagem,” celebrates Miracle’s 45th Anniversary.
