The Boconnoc Steam Fair is one of the leading events of its kind in the South West. With its picturesque setting and many exhibits, it is hard to beat the relaxed atmosphere and people travel from far and wide to attend this special event.

Over the weekend there will be something for all the family, whether visitors are interested in the magnificent steam engines, the fair ground rides, the vintage cars and other steam driven machinery or the history of Boconnoc House. The main house will be open to the public. There will be plenty of delicious refreshments and the beer tent will be open until late.

In 2015 the Steam Fair presented forty full size steam engines, miniature steam engines, tractors, motorbikes, bicycles, cars, commercial military and buses, model and craft marquees and numerous trade stands. Free trailer rides behind a puffing steam engine regularly run around the estate with trips down to the lake.

Donations received from trailer rides will go to the Cornwall Air Ambulance and donations are also made to the Liskeard Police Cadets who help throughout the event.
