Location: LillyBoo 31 Fore St, Lostwithiel, PL22 0BN
LilyBoo is launching a new community initiative called Lost in Threads, and they are inviting local groups to participate. Inspired by the global "Red Dress" project, this endeavour aims to bring the community together through collaborative art.
Project Overview
The project asks community groups to create unique artwork on a provided panel of yellow fabric. Participants are encouraged to use various mediums, including:
• Embroidery or sewing thread
• Yarn
• Watercolors (as a base for stitching)
LilyBoo will provide a basic kit and initial ideas to help each group get started.
The Creative Brief
The central theme for the artwork is: "What does Lostwithiel mean to you?".
There are no strict rules; designs can feature local imagery, well-known sayings, or specific colors that represent the town. The goal is to capture diverse personal perspectives of Lostwithiel.
Key Deadlines & Next Steps
Once the panels are finished, LilyBoo will stitch them together into a single display to be showcased in town, accompanied by a write-up featuring all involved groups.
Milestone Deadline
Expression of Interest March 20th 2026
Final Panel Completion August 1st 2026
