At the November meeting Mike Stephens showed Garden Society members that October and November need not be flowerless and dull in the garden. He used his excellent collection of photographs to illustrate the potential value of late summer, autumn and winter favourites, as well as suggesting less well known and more unusual plants, many with the extra bonus of attractive scent.

As usual the December meeting will be a social, with members bringing along a plate of food to share. Pat Ward, a committee member of the Cornwall Garden Society, is both a gardener and a photographer and she will be setting a Gardening Quiz.

Even if you feel your gardening knowledge is a bit weedy, you can just enjoy Pat's photographs, a tasty plate of food and the company of fellow plant lovers. Come along to the Church Hall at 7.30 pm on Tuesday December 11th - you will be most welcome'
