Fowey Festival of Words and Music

Saturday 9th May 2015
until Saturday 16th May 2015, 12:00pm

Location: Fowey

The Fowey Festival of Words and Music, now in its 18th year and undoubtedly the county’s flagship literary festival, will take place between the 9th and 16th May 2015.

Organised by the du Maurier Festival Society, it is staged in the beautiful town of Fowey, which was home to Daphne du Maurier and celebrated authors Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch and Kenneth Grahame.

This year’s programme includes an exciting schedule of events including talks and interviews with some of the world’s best selling authors plus creative and practical workshops, exhibitions, presentations, theatre, musical concerts, art and garden trails, guided walks and river cruises. There is also a family fun weekend being held at Trenython Manor, encouraging a younger audience and their families to learn together and be inspired by literature, the arts and nature.
