Truro choir Amici Voci are making their first appearance in Lostwithiel with an eclectic mix of song and light-hearted verse. You may know two of the choir members, Polly and Charlotte Dixon, from St Winnow School and Church. Polly tragically lost her daughter, Bee, this year and the concert is in remembrance of her and to raise funds for Ella's Memory (a very special charity that supports bereaved parents on the loss of a baby).

The choir are a group of friends who enjoy singing (hence the choir name Amici Voci), led by Shirley Tyack, professional singer and teacher. They do concerts around Cornwall, and have performed at the Hall for Cornwall amongst other venues, raising money for a range of charities. The choir came first in their class, with Distinction, at the Cornwall County Music Festival 2019.
