The main November film will be Darkest Hour which depicts the world-changing events of World War II from inside the war room as Britain teetered on the brink of possible defeat.

During the early days of World War II, with the fall of France imminent, Britain faced its darkest hour as the threat of invasion loomed. As the seemingly unstoppable Nazi forces advanced, and with the Allied army cornered on the beaches of Dunkirk, the fate of Western Europe hung on the leadership of the newly-appointed British Prime Minister Winston Churchill (Gary Oldman).

While manoeuvring his political rivals, he must confront the ultimate choice: negotiate with Hitler and save the British people at a terrible cost or rally the nation and fight on against incredible odds. Darkest Hour is the dramatic and inspiring story of four weeks in 1940 during which Churchill's courage to lead changed the course of world history.

"Oldman brings a wicked wit and compassionate heart to the role, one for which he seems almost superhumanly suited for - and that's really saying something, consider how many great actors have played Churchill." Peter Howell, Toronto Star

"Wright doesn't allow us to forget that all the words, speeches, and arguments are not only about politics but also about human beings, men on the beaches and stuck in trenches who are being killed and sacrificed." Ashley Menzel, We Live Entertainment

Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for under 18s, and are available online now or in advance from Watts Trading or on the door if not already sold out.
