Lost in Film - Goodbye Christopher Robin (PG)

Monday 26th March 2018, 8:00pm to 10:00pm

Location: Church Rooms, Church Lane, Lostwithiel

The March main film will be Goodbye Christopher Robin...

A rare glimpse into the relationship between beloved children's author A. A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson) and his son Christopher Robin, whose toys inspired the magical world of Winnie the Pooh. Along with his mother Daphne (Margot Robbie), and his nanny Olive, Christopher Robin and his family are swept up in the international success of the books; the enchanting tales bringing hope and comfort to England after the First World War. But with the eyes of the world on Christopher Robin, what will the cost be to the family?

'The performances are uniformly excellent.' Christopher Schobert, Buffalo News

'There's simply something lulling about this kind of ode-to-England piece that gets it right. And "Goodbye Christopher Robin" certainly does that.' Eleanor Ringel Cater, Saporta Report (Atlanta)

Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for under 18s, and are available online now or in advance from Watts Trading or on the door if not already sold out.
