Fitness and Yoga Classes

Tuesday 17th October 2017, 9:30am to 12:30pm

Location: Oasis Studio to the rear of Lostwithiel Community Centre.

Emma Mansfield has over twenty years experience as an exercise to music teacher and will be offering a range of high/lo aerobic and cardio workouts with weights to strengthen the upper and lower body and core.

Tuesdays  9.30am to 10.30am – Step and Strength (10 spaces available)

A mixture of high and low intensity step aerobics sequences on an off of the box. This class is designed to get the heart and lungs working, the choreography is gentle challenging and the class will finish off with a weights sequence, floor work and post-aerobic stretch.

 

Tuesdays 10.30 to 11.30 – Chair yoga (10 spaces available)

This class is for those new to yoga and who would benefit from a seated session that helps to improve overall well-being through breathing exercises, joint mobility, back-care exercises and a variety of gentle strengthening exercises.

 

Tuesdays 11.30 to 12.30 – Therapeutic Yoga and Somatics (only 15 spaces)

This class is for those who are looking for a gentle therapeutic class that focuses on joint and back care. The somatic sequences and exercises are simple and help to relieve pain in the hips, back and neck. For most of the session you will be lying on your back, front or side and props and blankets are available for your comfort.
