More Lerryn Mini-Bus Drivers needed
Monday 6th March 2017, 7:00pm to 8:00pm
Location: Lerryn Memorial Hall

A message from Ann Henderson, Chair of Lerryn Area Mini Bus Association:-
"Your community bus may be called the Lerryn Area Minibus, yet Lostwithiel residents appreciate the service and use it intensively.
Here are some facts for the year 2016:
- Of the 55 passengers who regularly reserved seats on the scheduled monthly trips, 44 were from Lostwithiel
- The minibus was hired on 41 occasions by charities and community groups - 21 of those were from groups based in Lostwithiel
Following the closure of the Lostwithiel Post-Office, we started a trial run of a weekly minibus trip to the Lerryn Post-Office on Tuesday 24th January 2017.
We were delighted to read in the Lostwithiel Neighbourhood Plan consultation paper which dealt with transport that the Parish Council is keen to support the community minibus and we are rather hoping that you are too.
The minibus ‘greatest assets are our drivers. We are in desperate need of more drivers. The situation is such that if we do not find more drivers, we will not be able to run all the trips planned and we will therefore have to disappoint our valued passengers.
If you would like to find out more about being a LAMA driver, please contact Ann Henderson, Chair of LAMA on 01208 873428 or why don’t you join us for a complimentary drink and nibbles in the Lerryn Memorial Hall on Monday 6th March at 7.00pm.
