Things to see and do in St Mawes
- Relax and watch the pleasure boats and ferries coming into the busy harbour.
- Visit St Mawes Castle, one of the the best preserved of Henry VIII's coastal artillery fortresses and the most elaborately decorated.
- Walk out on the coast path by the castle and then follow footpaths to St Just in Roseland - the St Just in Roseland church has 6th century origins and is set in a beautiful semi-tropical garden. You can find the route here.
- Take the 20 minute journey on the ferry to Falmouth and explore Falmouth pier, shops, and Pendennis Castle.
