Trewithen Restaurant wins Gold at Cornwall Tourism Awards

Trewithen Restaurant has won Gold in the category of Restaurant of the Year at the Cornwall Tourism Awards. They collected their trophy at a glittering ceremony at the Headland Hotel in Newquay on 12th November with guest appearances by Rosamund Barteau, daughter of Poldark author Winston Graham, and Cornish-born comedian Rory McGrath.

The CTA awards started in 2001 this year 71 winners were picked from a record 172 entries (and increase of 18%) in 24 categories. The winners were chosen after 6 months of judging and 111 judging visits to businesses.

Trewithen Restaurant took the top restaurant prize, winning against very stiff competition from The Dining Room in Rock and Number 6 in Padstow. Huge congratulations to them!
