Lostwithiel U3A Photography Exhibition

Wednesday 3rd December 2014

Lostwithiel Town Forum and Lostwithiel Area University of  The Third Age  ( U3A)  are joining forces to present a pop up photography exhibition in the former Nanadobbie shop in Fore Street.

As part of the Heritage Lottery Fund project relating to Lostwithiel Bridge, the local U3A Photography U3A echibitiongroup, under the guidance of renowned local photographers Peter and Caroline Bland, have captured images throughout the year of community life on and around the Bridge. They have also recreated some late 19th and early 20th century photos taken around the bridge which will be displayed alongside copies of the original photographs.

In addition the Lostwithiel U3A photographers have been hard at work honing their skills this year, and are presenting their second annual exhibition of work. This will include a wide variety of photographic styles and subjects, and is an ideal opportunity for anybody interested in finding out more about the group to come along and chat to one of the members.

The exhibition will be opened on Saturday 13th December at 10am by Councillor Benedicte Bay. It will also be open on Sunday 14th December for Antiques Sunday between 10 am and 4 pm. Thereafter it will be open Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 4 pm until 23rd December.
