Gilbury Hill wins Residential Project of the Year award

Thursday 15th May 2014

The Gilbury Hill housing development completed this year, providing affordable homes to families with a local connection to the town, has won an award for Residential Project of the Year (40 Units and Under).

The Michelmores/Western Morning News Annual Property Awards were held on 8th May at St Mellion International Resort and hosted by Dominic Holland.

The homes were built by Wycliffe Estates, a family run business specialising in property development based in Cornwall.

Situ8 planning consultancy secured planning approval for the 32 houses, associated parking and access roads on land off Castle Hill in Lostwithiel.

Working in close partnership with Lostwithiel Town Council, they identified over 50 local people who were eligible for these houses. The scheme provides 16 affordable dwellings and 16 open market dwellings.

A full list of winners and further information about the Award is available here.
