Dental surgery wins best in the SW

Saturday 24th December 2011

Lostwithiel Dental Surgery has only been open in its new premises for 7 months but it has already won an award for Best Practice in the South West in the national Dentistry Awards.

The practice was previously located in what was effectively an old shed by Lostwithiel station. The current owner, Finlay Bason, took over the surgery in 2005 and took the opportunity to move in May 2011 when larger premises become available.

The move has allowed the surgery to take on more NHS patients as well as offer private care. The surgery consists of five rooms at the newly renovated Old Carriageworks at Brunel Quays and has now grown to 16 staff.

The surgery is aiming to take on even more NHS patients. To contact the Lostwithiel Dental Surgery call 01208 873290 or write to The Old Carriage Works, Brunel Quays, Lostwithiel, Cornwall, PL22 0EN.
