Car share solution to rail disruptions

Has your journey to work or college been disrupted by the recent rail closures following winter storm damage?
Lostwithiel resident Imke Wood has proposed that people arrange more car shares to cope with the travel problems. She suggests that they use the Lostwithiel website or Facebook page as an informal way to let people know about journeys they are making and share travel costs.
As an example, Imke is travelling to Plymouth on Tuesday 11th Febraury and will be leaving Lostwithiel (Station) at 11.00 returning at 5.00. She has 4 places available in her car and suggests that each person pay £2.00 per journey. If anyone is interested please text Imke on 07821122991.
A wider scheme Carshare Cornwall, allows people to sign up for free and find out who is driving in the direction they need to travel.
