Beer Festival charity money presented

Lostwithiel Rotary Club's 8th Annual Beer Festival which was held on Saturday 19th March 2011 has raised nearly £3000 for local charities.

A cheque for £500 was presented to one of the selected charities, Lostwithiel Memory Cafe, a local organisation which offers support and advice to sufferers and carers of people with memory loss and dementia.

The Beer Festival showcased around 20 different beers from around the country and entertained punters with Six Nations rugby matches on the big screen followed by live music provided by Paul King, founder member of Mungo Jerry, and the Jackie Lynton band.
