2 new shops open in Lostwithiel

Thursday 26th September 2013

Lostwithiel is certainly leading the way out of the retail recession as 2 new shops open in one week !

2 quay street has moved into the former bakers with a collective of 3 associates under one roof. Amanda Davidge, Sian Cornish and Diana Mullis bring together vintage fabrics and haberdashery, organic fabrics and textile designs in one shop. As well as offering a range of fabrics and textiles unique to Cornwall, 2 quay street will be staging an ongoing series of textile based workshops covering a huge range of subjects.

Almost opposite 2 quay street, the doors are now open in the undercroft of the newly refurbished Duchy Palace. Inside you'll find Anna Dianne Furnishings. Anna Dianne already has concessions throughout Cornwall, but the Duchy Palace will be her main retail outlet.

The new shop offers painted children's furniture including personalised pieces, as well as individually painted kitchen and dining room furniture, all using ecopaints.  Anna Dianne also offers a painting and customising service for existing kitchens as well as architectural, vintage and antique furnishings at affordable prices.

With the opening of the 2 new retail outlets, Lostwithiel is now in the enviable position of having no empty retail shops.
