Governors at Lostwithiel School would like to invite members of the public to attend a community consultation on Tuesday 17th March at 6pm at the school, about our proposal to convert to an Academy and join the Peninsula Learning Trust (a newly formed multi academy trust).

This is a very exciting time for the school. Having received a Good Ofsted judgement in November, we are looking to the future for the best way to continue improving learning for all our pupils. There are many benefits and opportunities from joining the Peninsula Learning Trust which we would like to share. It will mean that Lostwithiel school is no longer a maintained school, and will cease to be funded through the Local Authority.  

Please come along to find out about what these changes would mean for the school, to ask questions, raise concerns and share your views.
