Restormel Medical Training Services is a newly established first aid training service based in the Lostwithiel area. Courses on offer include a 1 day Emergency First Aid At Work course which is SQA accredited (recognised by HSE and covers the requirements for most business environments e.g shops, pubs and restaurants).
Many businesses and organisations need to have staff trained in emergency first aid at work, and many smaller businesses choose to have one or more member of staff qualified with these skills. The knowledge gained form this course is useful for any group or organisation who work with the public. Restormel Medical Training Services offers an affordable and local service to meet all these needs.
The topics covered in this course are not only useful for businesses but also for individuals in their home lives. This course is open to all and unlike many training establishments that will only come to your place of work, this will be held in a public venue. Maximum classe size is 12 people, ensuring a better learning environment for the student.
Course leader Catherine Brewer is a qualified nurse with over ten years experience, including A and E, Expedition and mountain medicine. With her teaching qualification and previous experience of running First Aid courses, students can be assured that courses are of a high standard and backed up by real experience and knowledge.
